Josh won the CWAC district tournament. Now he'll have to place in the top 5 at the Regional tournament next weekend to earn a chance to compete at the state level. He's not celebrating yet. There is some pretty good competition coming up. The high school he attends also won the district title! It's been a very good year for the wrestling team. Good job guys!!
Back here at home is a different story. With all the wrestling matches and tournaments going on, we've had to leave our youngest home alone. It's ok she's a self feeder. She's pretty good on her own. We've taught her the rules and she's followed them thus far. Oh sure at 5yrs old she does occasionally jump out of line, but we quickly pull the reigns in and make sure she knows who's boss. I'll make sure I pay more attention to her this week and give her some love and affection. Although she thinks she's the bomb already!
She never gets tired of this activity. Man I love this girl. She's gonna get lots of love and attention this week, poor thing. She thinks this is her only friend. She's in awe of the beauty that stares back at her in the window. This friend is a good listener offering only a sympathetic eye and whines in unison. Yep, my baby will get lots of love this week because this weekend we'll leave her alone with her friend again to talk about how cruel momma is for only giving her 3 or 4 treats a day and taking up half of the queen size bed. Oh the humanity!!!!
